Highlights from "Thomas Stanghelle's Some Sunny Night" is now available in the "video" selection. The live performance took place at Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital's 50-year anniversary. The Norwegian Crown Princess Mette Marit was in the audience. Among the guest artists are A-HA vocalist Morten Harket, Olympic Champion Johann Olav Koss, Stephen Ackles and Xiao Yan from China. Thomas Stanghelle sings the tenor-part "Mark Wang" - the Chinese boy that survived an aircrash. Turid Stanghelle sings the part "Shen Lipeng" (Mark's mother). Kjetil Støa performs as the "marathon hero - Ketil Moe". Cecilie Rønning play Ketil Moes wife "Astrid". For more information, click here To see the "Highlits video" click here. Thomas Stanghelle is in Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital's "official jubilee book", published for the 50-year anniversary (page 116). Click here to read this article. The Tv-series "Hold up the blue sky of life" with music by Thomas Stanghelle will be shown in reruns all over China the next six months. Thomas Stanghelle performed Sunday November 7th. at 19.00hrs in the "orgelsal" at "Olavskvartalet" in Trondheim, at a concert with songs and music made by composers from Trondheim. A presentation of the opera-musical "Some Sunny Night"© with some of the songs were performed in Amrum, Germany October 28th. Turid Stanghelle (mezzosoprano) and Rybak family musicians from Belarus were among the performing artists. The Opera "Carmen" had its opening night October 8th. and was playing until October 14th. Thomas Stanghelle were singing in the solo-choir in the opera, performed at Olavshallen in Trondheim. The opera was sold out every night, and recieved great reviewes. Click here to see pictures. The CD contains songs recorded from 1963 until 2004, solos, duets and trios. The CD is now available in The Shop. The summerconcerts in the south of Norway was a success. 4 concerts in 4 evenings from July 14th. until July 18th.
